This position is only available for an accomplished sales representative with a proven track record in EdTech.

Our client is a global software development company focused on building top tier K-12 School Websites. This client has provided its own proprietary Content Management Software (CMS) to schools around the US.

We have an opening in the NYC office for a sales executive who has significant experience in the EdTech space and has previously demonstrated building relationships with School Districts and K-12 Administrators. This is a full-time, in-office position with no relocation.

With a proven understanding of SaaS business, this role will work closely with the VP of Sales to drive revenue by creating new sales opportunities and identifying upsell opportunities for existing customers.

We are looking for a highly driven team member with experience in sales development, including outbound calling, sending numerous emails, following up, and setting up appointments. You will be expected to research target regions and territories in the US as a sales development representative.

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of complex sale cycles
  • Extremely comfortable cold-calling every day
  • Ability to create new growth opportunities and build self generated leads.
  • Being organized at all times, ability to meet deadlines. Keeping detailed logs/notes
  • Ability to grow assigned territories

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years work experience, preferably within software industry
  • 5+ years in sales, with experience making cold calls
  • Proficient with CRMs, web meetings (Zoom), PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Products and Google Docs
  • Occasional Travel Required (approximately 15-20%)
