Our client, a cutting-edge technology business, based in London, is currently hiring for a Financial Controller to supervise all financial, commercial, and accounting related activities. You will be a key member of the management team and have scope to grow the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Management of all necessary tax requirements.
• Establishing effective processes and controls including day-to-day management of invoicing, debtors, creditors, bank reconciliation, cash flow etc.
• To ensure the integrity of the financial activities, including the review and analysis of budget planning, monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures.
• Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information and strategies to guide effective policy making.
• Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support including liaising with external tax accountants and key stakeholders

Requirements

• A background in corporate financial management, professional accounting, or auditing.
• Experience in leading financial teams.
• Strong IT and communication skills, including proficiency in accounting packages (Xero), Excel, and Word.
• A recognized professional qualification as an experienced or newly qualified member from a professional institution, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday. You will be based in their offices, in London, until you are fully equipped to go hybrid working.
