Chief Revenue Officer - $280,000-$350,000 per annum + 30%-40% bonus + large equity offering.

Our client is a fast-growing, Series B funded Cyber Security company dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions to protect businesses and individuals from emerging cyber threats. Their innovative technology and comprehensive suite of products have garnered significant recognition in the industry, and we are poised for exponential growth. As they continue to expand their customer base and global presence, they are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Revenue Officer to lead the commercial activities and drive the growth of our company.

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue generation, accelerate customer acquisition, and enhance customer retention. You will lead a high-performing sales team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive revenue growth and achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue growth strategies that align with the company's goals and market opportunities. Identify new market segments and expansion opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive individual and team performance. Set clear targets, establish sales territories, and implement effective sales processes and methodologies.
  • Drive customer acquisition efforts by developing and executing targeted sales plans and initiatives. Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation strategies, optimize sales pipelines, and ensure efficient conversion of leads into customers.
  • Develop and execute customer retention strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term value. Implement initiatives to reduce churn, increase upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive additional revenue streams and expand the company's market reach. Collaborate with partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies and drive mutual business growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales performance and revenue growth. Regularly analyze data, provide insights, and present reports to the executive team to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and revenue growth. Provide strategic guidance on product roadmap and pricing strategies based on market insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive team to align revenue goals with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on driving revenue growth in the Cyber Security or SaaS industry and a track record of successfully scaling revenue in high-growth companies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop actionable strategies, and execute plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, implementing sales processes and methodologies, and achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and long-term value.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, financial management, and key business drivers. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize revenue generation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven Leadership and Team Management experience

This is a full time, FTE/permanent role, working on a remote/home based basis. International travel required.
