Job description

Our client, a leading 360° IT solutions company with global coverage are currently hiring an Account Manager based in London.

Your aim within this role driving profit and sales through a consultative approach, whilst delivering core value of exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Finding and maintaining new clients, leveraging our portfolio of accomplished industry leading technologies.
  • Generate sales opportunities via phone, email and social media.
  • Building a healthy pipeline of projects and recurring sales.
  • Keep our CRM up to date and provide the team with monthly forecasts.
  • Manage client projects from discovery through to completion.
  • Following up on targeted and vendor-led marketing campaigns.
  • Developing and maintaining structured account plans and IT roadmaps for your customers.
  • Creating detailed proposals and engaging clients with a consultative approach.
  • Resolving and acting as point of escalation for all customer queries.
  • Working closely with all areas of the business to ensure that a positive customer experience is maintained consistently.
  • Keep informed of Market and Competitor activity and feed this back to the team to ensure we are always providing the best value and best technology portfolio.

Experience and skills

  • 2/3 years+ IT New Business sales experience.
  • A demonstrable track record of sales and target achievements.
  • A good understanding of the UK IT Channel and IT Distributor network and model.
  • Experience working with IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services.
  • The ability to manage, negotiate and close opportunities.
  • Excellent communication (verbally and written) and relationship management skills.
  • Meet with clients via Microsoft Teams video-conferencing and visit clients at their offices.
  • Ideally hold a full UK Driving License and have use of a vehicle during the working week and be prepared to travel for work, with occasional overnight stays.
  • A Positive, Ambitious, Target-driven attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a 'go-getter' attitude.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday. This is a hybrid role, with 1 or 2 days required in the London UK office every two weeks (negotiable).
