Our client, a global SaaS company, based in Dublin, Ireland are currently hiring for a Senior BI Analyst to be responsible for developing reports and complex analytics in support of strategic business efforts, leveraging multiple systems (SQL Server, Redshift, Sagemaker, Tableau etc.) and enabling stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with the Operations team to assist with complex data requests across various groups (Sales, Product, Marketing, CS, PMO & Finance)
• Ongoing analysis of sales, product and service KPIs as well as complex, strategic projects to evaluate and make recommendations for growth and revenue initiatives
• Serve as the subject matter expert, using advanced knowledge of multiple systems and independent / dependent sources to test hypotheses
• Design, document and deliver interactive Tableau dashboards and business insights for consumption across the organisation
• Create predictive analytics solutions to accelerate data flows, surface insights and identify trends and opportunities for the company
• Embrace Lean philosophy and look to drive continuous improvement, reducing lead time for our customers
• Stay informed on industry best practices and apply them on a daily basis

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years proven experience working on traditional database systems and big data platforms (SQL, Hadoop, Redshift)
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with Tableau
• Experience interrogating data for actionable insights.
• Ability to distil customer requirements to choose the best course of action via iterative development
• Excellent communication skills, ability to act as a bridge between the business & technical teams
• Experience publishing and presenting data and findings to a non-technical audience
• Critical thinking and strong organisational skills, with attention to detail

Even Better if you have:

• Experience with source control systems and CI/CD in the context of data analysis & data science
• Experience with analytical methodologies such as regression, classification, prediction, machine learning and neural networks
• Experience with Python, R, SPSS, Matlab or similar tools
• Experience analysing data from Salesforce and SAP systems
• Hard working, self-starter capabilities with the ability to learn quickly
• Experience working on SaaS and Mobile products, including web and app instrumentation
• Experience working with Telematics

This is an immediate start contract role which will run for a minimum period of 12 months, with the potential to either extend up to 24 months, or become permanent (although this cannot be guaranteed)
