Oracle EBS - Functional Expert

Summary:
Our client, a top-tier provider of information and technology services in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, is actively seeking an experienced Oracle EBS - Functional Expert to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role involves leveraging expertise in Oracle e-Business Suite R12 to deliver functional support for Finance, Accounting, and Procurement modules. To be considered for this role, you must hold NATO Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to HQ SACT BUDFIN experts involved in LOGFS FinS activities.
• Execute duties under the supervision of the ACT Chief Accountant.
• Collaborate with HQ SACT BUDFIN to enhance Oracle e-Business Suite R12 activities.
• Deliver functional support for Oracle Finance, Accounting, and Procurement modules.
• Contribute to the production release process for changes in Oracle EBS.
• Offer additional Oracle functional support relevant to the upgrade project.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency as an Oracle EBS functional specialist, possessing extensive knowledge in the implementation and support of Oracle e-Business Suite R12 applications.
• Specific experience in delivering functional support for Oracle Finance, Accounting, and Procurement modules, coupled with expertise in overseeing the release process for production changes.
• Comprehensive familiarity with Oracle E-business suite version 12.2.10 and above, with a focus on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management (CE), Purchasing (PO), Advanced Procurement, Cash Management, Travel, and Fixed Assets.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including encumbrance accounting, accrual accounting, and hands-on experience in Public Sector accounting processes.
• Adept at seamlessly integrating into collaborative finance teams.
• Capability to identify critical issues, report them to management, and provide recommended courses of action for timely resolution.
