Marketing / Events Administrator

We are currently looking for a junior/ early graduate Marketing Administrator to join our client - a law firm based in Reading.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Business Development, the role will be split between 50% events and 50% marketing administration.

The candidate will be required to attend to the office 2 days each week with the view to be flexible in order to meet business needs and attend to company events.

Experience/ Attributes required

  • Up to one year's marketing experience in a busy team environment
  • Business to business marketing experience would be an advantage
  • Basic understanding of on-line and traditional marketing techniques
  • The ability to communicate with key stakeholders within the business
  • Flexible approach to work and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised and proactive approach
  • Good keyboard and Microsoft office skills
  • Willing to question current practices and search for better ways to carry out tasks

Role & Responsibilities

  • Updating marketing collateral & team sheets for practice groups
  • Work with the digital team to provide support on video and podcast production - liaising with supplier and teams
  • Co-ordinate firm photography and profiles - liaising with photographer, manage photo library and update photos on collateral and update profiles on the website
  • Support the Events Manager prepare events/conferences and eventually take ownership of smaller in-house events.
  • Attend to seminars/ events
  • Upload press releases and business services articles on the main firm website
  • Maintain people profiles on main website
  • Share business services content on social media accounts (Twitter/LinkedIn)
  • Collate content and manage e-newsletters such as People in Focus and assist with other ad-hoc newsletters (Delivering Development, Insolvency, Litigation)
  • Provide team support on other projects/events as and when required
  • Liaise with suppliers
