Job description

Our client, an IT and Audio-Visual solution provider based in Basingstoke, are currently hiring an IT Service Desk Support Technicians providing 1st line support to their users.

Responsibilities

  • 1st Line Service Desk, providing IT support to users
  • Assist users on the client's own systems.
  • Resolve clients issues via telephone and remote support tools.
  • Escalating any queries that need further attention to the 2nd line team.

Requirements

  • Candidates with experience in a previous IT support role are welcomed
  • IT support knowledge- Desirable- A+/ITIL/MCDST/Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Support/N+/CCENT
  • Candidates with a related degree or college qualification will also be considered for this role.
  • Great, friendly, telephone manner, especially with non-technical users
  • Accurate written communication skills
  • A strong desire to help the end-user.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday.

You will work a shift pattern of 7am-3:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm and 9:00am - 5:30pm.

There will be an occasional Saturday morning shift 7am/12pm every 6 weeks - paid on overtime basis.
