Our client is a worldwide market leader in Test, Measurement and Monitoring Products, is currently recruiting for a Calibration Technician to be based in Cologne, Germany to be part of their Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities:

As a technician, you will be responsible for calibrating test and measurement equipment at the Service Center in Cologne, Germany. You will work closely with customer support, application support and sales colleagues to provide fast and high-quality support to our customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
· Calibration of measuring instruments (automatic and manual)
· Maintenance and control of calibration equipment
· Preparation and issuance of calibration protocols
· Collaboration in the development of new calibration procedures
· Entering and Updating Service Information in the Company Service System
· Compliance with the company Quality Management in accordance with ISO 17025 Accreditation

Requirements:

· Completed electrical engineering training or comparable
· First to several years of professional experience as a technician or electrical engineer/electrician, ideally in the field of measurement technology
· Desirable, but not a must: Knowledge of Fluke MetCall/Met Track software
· Good IT skills (especially MS Office)
· Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
