Job description
Our client, a global leading health and wellness company, are currently hiring for a Bid Writer to support on public health and government bids.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, writing, and submission of public sector tenders focusing primarily on
- opportunities within the NHS, Local Authorities, and Central Government.
- Engage with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders to gather and consolidate the required information.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to tender requirements, quality standards, and align with our company's offerings and values.
- Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Continuously update and maintain a knowledge base of industry trends, public sector procurement processes, and best practices.
- Maintain an up-to-date bid library, ensuring content is current, relevant, and easily accessible.
- Attend client debriefing and feedback sessions post-submission, to understand the strengths and areas for improvement in our proposals.
- Provide insights on proposal strategies, competitive analysis, and win themes.
- Participate in proposal reviews, proofreading, and final production.
- Track and report on proposal outcomes, making recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in writing public sector tenders, particularly in the NHS, or even better
- in weight management services.
- Proven track record of winning public sector contracts.
- Certification with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) preferred.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the UK public sector procurement processes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

Contract Type: Contractor (Outside of IR35)
Location: Remote, UK
Duration: 3-6 months - likely to extend
Maximum Daily Rate: £350-£450 per day
