Financial Controller - 6 month contract - Eindhoven, NL - €90-€100 per hour (37 hours per week)

Our client, a government body, based in Eindhoven, NL, are currently hiring for a Financial Controller to provide support and advice on the management and control of complex programs, projects or policy areas/themes for financial and budgetary topics.

Responsibilities

• Advise on finances of a complex policy area or theme or of domain-wide or complex regional programs/projects
• Provide information for audits, research, accountants and benchmarks
• Prepares the budget (including substantiation and explanation).

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Financial Controller, ideally in a government or related environment.
• HBO+/WO work and thinking level.
• Specialized and broad knowledge of finance
• Insight into the coherence of finances and the context of work/task area of ​​complex policy area/theme/program/project.
• Knowledge of relevant and current laws and regulations.
• Skilled in dealing with conflicts of interest with external parties.

This is an immediate start contract role for a minimum period of 6 months which may extend to 12 months and/or become permanent (although this is not guaranteed).
