Channel Account Manager - CCTV/Surveillance

A leading global telecommunications company is seeking to recruit a Channel Account Manager - CCTV/Security to help deliver the company's growth targets. They are looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales team. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to make a significant impact and truly play a part in the development and success of the Netherlands business moving forwards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with key distribution partners to uncover new opportunities and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships with all levels of customer organisation including C/D Suite level executives, sales, operations, marketing, purchasing, finance and technical. Facilitate relationships with relevant internal departments to engage with counterparts in each organisation.
  • Promote all products with channel partners, including channels, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Develop SMB and Enterprise networking solution sales with new and existing customers. With the ability to present, train and educate customers on networking solutions including Business WiFi, Managed Switching, Routing and CCTV security product categories.
  • Build trusted relationships with key distribution partners to uncover new opportunities and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of sales opportunity within target customers and provide regular feedback to the management team on open opportunities, competition activity, forecasting and quarterly plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process from concept to execution within each customer and closely manage the ROI and company expenditure in the best interest of the business.
  • Work effectively within a team environment and offer support to other areas of the business when required. For example, tradeshows, training activities, customer events.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • You have HBO / WO work and thinking level.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales with a focus on intrusion, alarm products, CCTV, security products, or access control products.
  • Good understanding of the local market and how to do business within your specified region.
  • Has existing B2B customer relationships and a good track record of success.
  • IT product sales working with distributions, system integrators, managed service providers and professional Installers. Ideally Networking sales experience but not essential.
  • Strong customer facing skills with competence in training, presentations and professional business planning.
  • Highly motivated, well organised, detail-oriented and possesses good time management skills. Project management experience will be desirable.
  • Detailed market research and analytical skills, logical thought process and comprehensive customer reporting.
