WINTEL Systems Administrator (Platform Manager)

Rate: £490 per day (umbrella or sole trader, no LTD companies)

Job Description:

• Strong knowledge of Windows systems
• Good understanding of networks
• Experience in running and maintaining a monthly security patching process
• PKI knowledge
• DV Clearance needed
• Understanding of handling sensitive material
• Experience in maintaining a document library
• Proficiency in running and understanding daily environment checks

Brief Overview of Role/Project:

• As an engineering-focused Platform Manager with a strong technical background, your role will involve:
• Maintenance and support of a small Windows-based Live Service Network hosting various applications.
• Providing 3rd Line level support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Working within established configuration and change management policies for successful changes to the network.
• Assisting different departments in maintaining network security.
• Establishing and adhering to processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensuring accurate records of network components, maintenance activities, connections, and inventory through appropriate databases.
• Providing technical on-call support out of hours on a 1-week-in-3 basis.

• DV Clearance is mandatory for this role.
