The contractor in this role will primarily be handling Solvent Waste and Metal Wastes. GSW (General Solvent Waste), CMW (Corrosive Metal Waste), and DMW (Dilute Metal Waste).

Introduction: Intel seeks to obtain a Technician on compressed work week day shift (four 10-hr days) and will interact with engineering and Technicians to operate and maintain ultrapure water (UPW) and Liquid Industrial Waste (LIWS) systems on the Aloha campus.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Operating and maintaining Ultra-Pure Water and Liquid Industrial Waste systems which support our operations facilities.
* Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on UPW and LIWS systems.
* Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra Violet Light Sterilization, etc.
* Maintaining Analytical equipment and creating Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems).
* Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software.
* Loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, filters, IX beds, etc.
* Onloading liquid chemicals from tank trucks to bulk storage tanks.
* Offloading liquid chemical waste from tanks to trucks.
* Collecting samples of liquid chemical waste for analysis.
* Inspection of chemical storage cabinets and inventory of chemicals/parts.
* Developing pre task plans.
* Working as a team member with outstanding customer service skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Manager is looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of specific UPW and/or LIWS operations experience. Or AAS 2 year degree with 1 year or more experience.
* Preferred Skills: Good verbal & written communication skills including experience with MS Word/Excel and general familiarity with computer use including Outlook. Additional REQUIRED training will be provided.
* Years of experience required: 2-3 years if HS diploma or GED equivalent - required for US candidates. Or AAS 2 year degree with 1 year or more experience

Team of 2-3 process technicians. Working on their feet most of the 10 hour shift doing operations and maintenance of Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Liquid industrial Waste systems (LIWS).
