Job description

Resource Manager - 6 month contract working as an Independent Contractor (Possibility of extension) - €16 - €17 per hour / 31.30 - 33.35 LEV Local Currency - Sofia, Bulgaria / Hybrid Working 3 days on site

The resource management support is part of the Resource management team and supports the Delivery managers and Managing consultants in the CMT to which are aligned to optimize the project staffing and the utilization of the workforce. You will interact with different management layers and with field consultants to drive resource escalations in projects and qualify the best candidates to staff those. You are expected to identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the EMEA teams/WW RM to implement those across all groups.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

  • Staffing projects in the CMT. Facilitate cross countries sourcing.
  • Selects the right resource for the project and trainings in the terms of skills, cost, availability and revenue generation potential, giving a priority to internal (CMT, EMEA, on-shore, near-shore) and offshore sourcing. Works with the others RMs to find appropriate resources outside the CMT.
  • Drives resource escalations to solve the potential allocation conflicts between the different stakeholders.
  • Maintains the resource allocation for the CMT, works with the Delivery Manager and the consultants on a weekly basis to understand the available capacity in the team and provide an accurate utilization forecast for the rolling 4 months ahead.
  • Publish all outstanding resource requests and work with other regional resource managers to find appropriate solutions for the available consultants in his/ her team.
  • Collaborates with Professional Services Education for delivering training with delivery consultants. Use primary certified instructors and promote the instructor certification.
  • During month closure anticipate the utilization figures for analysis, and action, if needed, to minimize the unreported hours and allow consultants to book accurately on the right projects.
  • Provides the CMT Delivery manager with the necessary reports reflecting the activity in scope: utilization metrics of the team, workforce characterization reports. Input for residual forecasting/ Forecast accuracy ( Forecast vs Actual)
  • Leads the end-to-end process to identify and onboard suitable contingent workers when external resources are needed consulting with Global Procurement: initiates the Purchase Order creation, insures the onboarding of the external resources is in compliance with the local regulations.

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

  • Min Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of professional experience

Other requirements:

  • Excellent English, spoken and written, other European languages is a plus.

  • Project Management experience, understand project financials.
  • Process implementation experience.
  • Leading by influence, leading process improvement initiatives

Technical skills

  • Good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Good experience with complex IT applications
  • Reporting dashboards, SharePoint usage
