Our client is a leader in cybersecurity consulting and certification for complex connected systems: Embedded, IoT, industrial, Cloud/Edge based in Paris, are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Consultant specialized in embedded systems. The upcoming EU regulations in terms of Cybersecurity and the EU adoption of new certification schemes expand the need of certified embedded products to secure sensitive connected services and systems.

Job description:

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of embedded systems hardware/software architectures (semiconductors, embedded systems, IoT, etc.) with a good knowledge of:

• Product security (threats and countermeasures)
• Technical operation of the products
• Product life cycle

Missions:

• Support international companies in their certification preparation process
• Conduct risk analysis on hardware/software components or systems
• Create awareness and train product manufacturers to different schemes
• Analyze technical documents against security requirements and write reports
• Write technical documentation to prepare evaluations
• Interact with certification stakeholders (product manufacturers, certification schemes, evaluation labs)

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering, Master's degree or PhD,
• At least 3 years of experience in hardware and/or software product security, through activities such as design, security architecture, evaluation, certification, definition/implementation of security countermeasures,
• You know how to analyze technical documents,
• Strong skills in oral and written communication in English.

Soft skills:

• Capability to collaborate with experts with various backgrounds,
• Good problem-solving skills,
• Lead of technical meetings and report on the progress of your activities,
• Ability to adapt to customer context and to work on several projects in parallel.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of certification schemes (ISO27001, Common Criteria, EMVCo, SESIP, CSPN, GlobalPlatform, IEC62443, etc.).
• Background/experience in a subset of the following areas is a plus: cryptography, formal methods, static analysis, safety, AI, Cloud, …
• Experience and connections with the EU and international certification ecosystem, labs and certification authorities are also appreciated.
