Credit Controller
Job description
Our client, within the environmental services industry, is looking for a Credit Controller to help the team maximise cash collections and ensure cash flow is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Collection of overdue payments via telephone and post within the target times set
- Ensuring all customer contact details are correct and up to date
- Responding to customer queries, following them up to ensure payment is received for previously disputed items
- Initiate legal proceedings when all other collections means have failed
Requirements
- Previous Credit Control experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great working knowledge of Word, Excel and Email
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm based in Cannock. This is to start ASAP and is to run until the end of April initially with the potential to be extended or made permanent although this is not guaranteed.
