Our client, a global energy giant, are currently hiring for a Project Manager to manage construction projects involving underground cables, overhead lines and substation works up to 132kV.

Requirements

• Previous experience of managing construction projects involving underground cables, overhead lines and substation works up to 132kV is preferred but other relevant sectors/utilities will be considered.
• An Engineering qualification is preferred and a recognised qualification in construction safety and project management would be advantageous.
• Experience in contract management and ideally experience of NEC construction contracts.
• Experience in the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 and understand the duties of Client, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital and you will need to be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external. You will also need to possess good problem-solving skills and can thrive under pressure.
• Regular travel is required and as a result we can only accept applications from candidates that hold a current driving licence.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, established business. The contract will be for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extending up to 24 months or become permanent if preferred (although this is not guaranteed).

This is an Inside IR35 contract role, so pay must be on an Umbrella company basis.
