Accounting & Reporting Project Manager
Job description
Our client, one of the worlds leading Internet Marketplace Platform companies, is currently hiring for an Accounting Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing accounting projects to ensure their successful completion.
This includes developing project plans, helping to execute certain plans and remove blockers, communicating with stakeholders, managing project budgets, and tracking project progress.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and project management methodologies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans for accounting and reporting projects
- Manage project budgets and track project expenses
- Track project progress and report on project status to stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress
- Ensure that accounting projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- 3+ years of experience in project management
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
This is an immediate start contract position for a minimum period of 6 months, which may extend up to 2 years.
This is an Independent contractor engagement and you would be responsible for paying all necessary taxes in-country.
