Our client is a leader in cybersecurity consulting and certification for complex connected systems: Embedded, Internet of Things (IoT), industrial, Cloud/Edge based in Paris are seeking a skilled and experienced 5G/Cloud Security Expert to join the expanding team in Paris, France.
Job description:

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of security standards and guidance including 3GPP, ETSI, GSMA, ENISA and extensive experience in risk assessment, audit processes and certification in the 5G/Cloud area (GSMA NESAS, SecNumCloud, etc.). An experience on Kubernetes security (OWASP, MITRE, CIS, etc.) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in 5G and cloud environments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as 3GPP SCAS, GSMA NESAS, and ENISA 5G controls matrix in our client's 5G network and cloud deployments.
• Provide expertise on cloud security principles, virtualization, and containerization technologies, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies in 5G and cloud computing.
• Lead training and awareness programs for staff, focusing on 5G and cloud security best practices.
• Participate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in 5G security, including detailed knowledge of 3GPP SCAS and GSMA NESAS.
• Strong background in risk assessment, and audit processes.
• Familiarity with cloud security, virtualization and containerization technologies, Kubernetes, etc.
• Desirable certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent, Kubernetes certificates.

Soft-skills :

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong skills in oral and written communication in English
• Collaboration abilities with experts

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a 5G and cloud security environment. Experience with specific tools or technologies in this domain is highly valued.
