2nd Line Support Engineer

£200-£300 per day- 12 Months contract

We are looking for a 2nd Line service provided is 24x7 (365 days) and staff who will be on a shift pattern. The individual
shall augment the existing SDWAN Service Team to provide support on a 24/7 shift pattern. The service covers both network and server support. This role is for a network engineer; although the engineer is working in SDWAN Services and will therefore also perform server tasks.

Must have In-depth knowledge of configuring and tuning the following:

• Juniper SRX platform
• BGP
• IPSEC
• MPLS
• PKI
• SDWAN

Desirable Skills:

• Juniper SRX platform - in-depth knowledge of Junos & experience in various SRX platforms.
• BGP - in-depth knowledge of configuring and tuning BGP, to include topics such as policy based routing, manipulation of attributes, load-balancing techniques.
• IPSEC - in-depth knowledge of IPSEC VPN's and be familiar with troubleshooting
• MPLS - in-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting MPLS
• PKI - Successful candidate will have knowledge of PKI infrastructure elements and be familiar with certificate based VPN authentication.
  
  

Working Pattern (Mon-Fri, Shifts, on-call): 24x7 (365 days) and staff will be on a shift pattern
This is an immediate start contract role which will run for a minimum period of 12 months, with the potential to either extend, or become permanent (although this cannot be guaranteed)

This contract is only available on a PAYE or Sole Trader basis. Ltd company engagement is not an option.
