This senior role will involve leading strategic initiatives to strengthen operational capabilities in continuity and civil preparedness for electricity grid operations.
You will play a pivotal role in planning, change management, and guiding the organisation through a transformative period.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business development and change management initiatives.
- Support the establishment of a new operational monitoring system and critical activities.
- Conduct business mapping, strategy development, risk analysis, and capability assessments.
- Drive initiatives related to continuity planning and system recovery scenarios.
- Manage projects, provide decision support, and oversee personnel in interim management roles.
- Ensure alignment of program/project deliveries with strategic goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise of the highest rank in business development and strategic planning.
- Proven track record of high-quality delivery in complex assignments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in change management, project management, and administrative leadership.
- Holistic thinking with a capability to visualise strategic connections and prioritise efficiently.
- Familiarity with European grid codes, energy market dynamics, and IT system integrations is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Security Clearance: Security clearance and a SUA agreement are mandatory. This process may take up to 10 weeks. Work cannot commence until clearance is approved.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel may be required.
