Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect – Talent Management
Location: Charlotte, NC
Travel: Up to 75% (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect specializing in Talent Management to join our client’s team. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting comprehensive talent management solutions for our clients using Oracle Cloud HCM. The ideal candidate possesses deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Talent Management, coupled with a strong understanding of US and Canadian business processes. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of leading implementations and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The Senior Talent Management Architect will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud HCM Talent Management implementations, from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support. This includes leading client workshops, configuring Oracle Talent Management modules, developing integrations, and ensuring seamless data migration. The role demands a hands-on approach, a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud HCM Talent Management implementations, including planning, execution, and go-live support.
  • Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their talent management needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Design and configure Oracle Talent Management modules (e.g., candidate sourcing, onboarding, performance reviews, career development, competency modeling, succession planning).
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Configure workflows, set up custom fields, and integrate Oracle Talent Management with other HCM modules like Core HR and Payroll.
  • Provide expertise on Oracle Talent Management features and functionalities, advising clients on best practices and optimal system utilization.
  • Lead system testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and implementing enhancements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud HCM releases and new features within Talent Management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of US and Canadian payroll and year-end/start-of-year processes.
  • Utilize the Transaction Console effectively for troubleshooting and system management.


Required Skills:

  • 12-15 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud modules, specifically Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Talent Management modules and their integration with other HCM modules.
  • Proven experience in leading at least two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, including multi-country deployments.
  • Experience providing support for at least two production support projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge of the Transaction Console.
  • Excellent understanding of US and Canadian business processes related to payroll, year-end, and start-of-year activities.
  • Solid experience with requirement gathering, cloud configuration, system testing, and SIT/UAT support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration platforms.
  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
  • Oracle Cloud HCM certifications.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience delivering in a similar role within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
