As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional development team responsible for building and maintaining software solutions that ensure Sweden’s electricity transmission system is stable, efficient, and secure. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Angular, and Kubernetes within a SAFe agile framework (three-week sprints).
You will also contribute to test automation and system-wide testing to improve efficiency and reliability within a complex energy ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure high-quality Java-based applications
- Implement and optimize test automation strategies
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives)
- Contribute to the development of a testbed for system-wide testing (functionality, performance, and security)
- Maintain clear and structured documentation
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, specializing in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
- Experience with test automation and best practices
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud deployments, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular is a plus)
- Proven ability to work in agile teams and collaborate effectively
Aditional information
Work Location: Office-based near Stockholm, with up to 50% remote work (on-site 2-3 days/week)
Workload: Full-time (100%) throughout the assignment
