About the Role

A leading global company in the networking and connectivity industry is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to strengthen its B2B team in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy professional with at least 2 years of experience in the hardware/software industry who enjoys working closely with customers and partners to provide expert technical guidance.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be the key technical advisor for customers, helping them understand how networking solutions can enhance their business operations. You will collaborate with sales teams, conduct technical presentations and training, and provide hands-on support for network design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to channel partners, assisting with product selection, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Conduct customer-centric presentations, product demonstrations, and training to educate stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and offer the right solutions.
  • Assist with network planning, setup, and proof-of-concept projects for business clients.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends in Wi-Fi, switching, routing, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
  • Travel within the Benelux region to meet with customers and partners.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or network engineering role in the hardware/software industry.
  • Fluent Dutch and business-level English (spoken and written).
  • Educational background in IT, Networking, or a related field (MBO+ or Bachelor's preferred).
  • Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent in Routing, Switching, or Wi-Fi).
  • Strong understanding of business Wi-Fi installations in industries like hospitality, retail, and enterprise.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Valid driver’s license (B) for customer visits in the Benelux region.
