About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect
with a specialization in Core HR
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, particularly Core HR, and extensive experience implementing and supporting these solutions. This role requires a strong functional understanding of US and Canadian payroll and HR processes, as well as the ability to analyze requirements, configure the system, and provide testing and support throughout the project lifecycle. Up to 75% travel may be required based on client needs, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in all phases of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct thorough requirements analysis sessions with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure and customize Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR modules to meet specific client requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions.
- Provide ongoing production support for Oracle HCM Cloud applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle HCM Cloud and other systems.
- Develop and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions to client users.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud updates and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of internal methodologies and best practices for Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience delivering in a similar role as an Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect.
- Extensive functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with a strong focus on Core HR. Experience with Payroll and Talent Management modules is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of US and Canadian payroll and HR business processes, including year-end and start-of-year activities.
- Proven experience with the Transaction Console within Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Successful completion of at least two full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations (multi-country experience preferred) and two production support projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and configure Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
- Strong experience in system testing, SIT, and UAT
Nice to Have Skills:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with global or multi-national organizations.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
