Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect – Compensation
Location: Charlotte, NC
Travel: Up to 75% travel required (MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Oracle Cloud HCM Solutions Architect specializing in Compensation to lead and deliver successful Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation and related modules, strong leadership skills to manage multi-cultural and techno-functional teams, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading full lifecycle implementations in global environments and a passion for solving complex business challenges
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Guide clients in understanding their complex business challenges and translate those needs into effective Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. Conduct fit/gap analysis and provide recommendations for bridging gaps.
- Solution Design: Design and validate end-to-end solutions within Oracle Cloud HCM, focusing on Compensation and integrating with other modules as needed. This includes configuring the system, developing custom solutions using PaaS components, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Implementation & Delivery: Oversee all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including configuration, testing, deployment, training, and release management. Manage project scope, identify and propose change requests, and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor techno-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Coordinate with PaaS technical teams and other module leads to ensure seamless integration and resolve any technical issues.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to Capgemini’s Oracle HCM Cloud communities by sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud HCM updates and advancements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Build strong relationships and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Project Management: Contribute to project planning, execution, and tracking. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 6-9 years of experience leading multiple full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. Must have worked on at least 3-4 Oracle Cloud HCM or Multi-Pillar projects.
- Oracle Cloud HCM Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the following Oracle HCM Compensation modules:
- Auto Completion
- Fast Formulas
- Approval Workflow Configuration
- BI Publisher Reporting (Job Offers, Contracts, Employment Letters, Preboarding Tasks)
- Custom Dashboards (e.g., TA data by Recruiting team)
- Career Site Development (JavaScript, Java, HTML)
- Batch Job/Transformation Formula
- Secondary Module Experience: Familiarity with the following Oracle HCM modules: Learning, Security, Fast Formula, Helpdesk, Talent Management.
- PaaS Integration: Experience designing solutions that incorporate Oracle PaaS components.
- Consulting & Analysis: Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills. Ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective solutions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Global Implementation Experience: Experience implementing Oracle Cloud HCM in global environments or international experience is highly preferred.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with MS Project, PowerPoint, and online Agile collaboration tools such as Jira or Rally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Two or more active Oracle Cloud Certifications.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% (3-4-5 model).
