We are seeking a highly skilled IFRS Technical Accountant for a short-term contract to support our clients financial reporting and technical accounting needs. This role will focus on writing detailed technical memos and assessments, as well as handling financial statement preparation and financial reporting.
We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background with hands-on experience in IFRS reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality technical memos and assessments on IFRS accounting matters.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and related disclosures.
- Support financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
- Analyse and interpret complex accounting issues and provide well-documented recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in IFRS accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in writing technical memos.
- Experience working with financial statements and reporting.
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Big 4 experience or equivalent is a plus.
- Based in Amsterdam (preferred) or open to strong remote candidates at competitive rates.
Contract Details
- Duration: 2 months (potential flexibility)
- Location: Amsterdam preferred, but remote candidates will be considered if they meet the required expertise at competitive rates.
