Category Sourcing Expert – 12-month Contract – Dublin, Ireland - €35 - €40 per hour
I am working with an IT company in Limerick that is looking to hire a Category Sourcing Expert. The expert will be responsible for sourcing strategies and maintaining relationships to achieve the best total value.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate terms for new agreements and renewals
- Guide internal business partners through the supplier selection process
- Handling the sourcing process
- Identify and evaluate the potential supplies
- Contract negotiation and administration
- Executing supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers within assigned categories
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Project and Stakeholder Management in a complex multi-project environment
- Category Sourcing, supplier management and/or purchasing experience
- Able to lead meetings/conference calls, calling upon your excellent communication skills
- Lean Six Sigma, Ariba, SAP or Strategic Sourcing experience would be advantageous but is not a necessity
This is a contract position for 12 months. This position will require you to attend the office in Dublin 1-2 times a month, the rest of the work can be carried out from home.
