Our Client, a global leader in electrification, automation, and sustainability solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their dynamic team. As a Sustainability Consultant you will play a pivotal role in guiding our customers towards achieving their sustainability goals, decarbonization targets, and energy efficiency objectives. You will collaborate with our sales, product, and service teams to provide tailored solutions and promote our sustainability-related portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Advisory: Advise and assist our customers, primarily in the medium and large enterprise segment, in developing and implementing decarbonization strategies, energy efficiency programs, and sustainability roadmaps. Promote sustainability-related solutions and services.
2. Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team during the acquisition phase to evaluate potential customers' requirements. Co-create value-based proposals with customers, ensuring alignment with their sustainability objectives.
3. Resource Management: Drive the consulting business profitably by efficiently allocating resources for business growth. Ensure the availability of necessary resources and expertise to meet customer needs.
4. Solution Development: Work closely with our Sales and Product teams to define tailored sustainability solutions for customers. Record and independently oversee the implementation of customer requirements, contributing to our sustainability portfolio's product pipeline.
5. Project Execution: Independently implement consulting projects, working closely with clients to identify energy reduction potentials, prepare scenario-based emissions forecasts, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
6. Sustainability Reporting: Support clients in sustainability reporting, particularly in various ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings. Advise clients on aligning with Science Based Targets and Net Zero standards.
7. Auditor Training: Preferably possess Auditor training in ISO 50001 and/or EN 16247-1, with alternative experience in other management systems such as ISO 14001/45001.
8. Market Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of energy legislation, subsidies, market trends, and industrial utilities, enabling you to provide informed guidance to clients.
9. Customer Education: Conduct training and educational sessions for customers on sustainability-related requirements. Collaborate on-site with customers to co-create implementation roadmaps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering).
• Proven experience in sustainability consulting, including strategy development and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 50001 and/or EN 16247-1, is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adept at data analysis and scenario planning.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
