Our client, a Series A funded SaaS start up, based in New York are currently hiring for 5 x Senior Java Engineers to scale their product team and offering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test and support microservices based cloud applications
• Understand and reason about concurrency and parallelization to deliver scalability and performance in a multithreaded and distributed environment
• Use modular design patterns to deliver ans architecture that's rooted in simplicity, that's easy to iterate on and constantly evolve

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or in a related technical field
• 6+ years of relevant experience and strong Java programming skills.
• Expert at debugging Java applications, JMX, Webservices, REST APIs, GRPC,
• Experience developing scalable distributed systems and deploying, scaling, and managing microservices and webservices.
• Experience with building robust and scalable APIs for data processing platform
• Excellent communication skills and affinity for collaboration and teamwork
• Interested in and motivated to be part of a fast-moving start-up with a fun and accomplished team

• Compensation range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000 per year
