Senior IP Verification Engineer
Company: Cutting-Edge Semiconductor Solutions
Location: UK/Remote
Contract Duration: 12 months with very likely to extend
Daily Rate :£400 -£450
Are you an accomplished Verification Engineer with a passion for creating robust and reliable test environments? Do you possess strong SystemVerilog Universal Verification Methodology (SV UVM) experience along with a well-rounded skill set? Key Responsibilities: As a Verification Engineer Contractor, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining advanced test bench environments for digital IP, blocks, and units.
- Employing SV UVM and/or Specman coding to develop comprehensive test cases.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, concept, and project management, to swiftly identify and resolve issues.
- Leveraging your problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and address them proactively.
- Employing simulation, debugging, and data-management tools to ensure thorough verification and validation of designs.
- Absorbing complex digital IP specifications and translating them into effective verification strategies.
- Effectively estimating and planning your work to optimize time management and focus on high-priority tasks.
- Demonstrating a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and exceptional debugging abilities.
- Participating in formal verification efforts, with a focus on Property Checking, as an added advantage.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Verification at IP/Block/Unit level.
- Proficiency in SV UVM and/or Specman e, with a preference for candidates with experience in both.
- Confidence in using simulation, debugging, and data-management tools common in the verification domain.
- Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Excellent collaboration skills and a proactive approach to working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities to ensure thorough verification coverage.
- The ability to grasp and apply complex digital IP specifications effectively.
- Efficient time management skills and the ability to focus on critical tasks.
- Familiarity with Formal Methods, especially Property Checking, is considered a bonus.
Once training is complete you will be required onsite 2/3 times monthly.
