Our client, a global leader in Technology, Information & Internet are currently hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to Build out a data platform for Audit, leveraging AWS tools.
In addition, you will also support Business Analysts with data requests and self-manage requirements gathering to understand the data model needed to build reports.
Responsibilities
Responding to data requests
Build solutions which leverage AWS products
Reading documentation
Attend in-person and virtual meetings with technical teams
Working with large, complex data sets
Maintaining database and AWS accounts
Essential Requirements
Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
Strong SQL kowledge and capability
Experience with parallel processing
Experience with AWS tech stack
Desired Requirements
Familiarity with accounting, tax and payments data
Experience in Risk Advisory function, Internal Audit, or Projects relating to DAC 7, DST, SOX, GRC, GDPR, IT Controls, Systems Audits
Experience of working in a Data team within an accounting function, with familiarity with bulk data for Trial Balances, Journal Entries, and sub-ledgers
This is a full time contract position working 40 hours per week for an initial 6 month period, extending to 12 and 18 months after review.
This is a hybrid working contract with the requirement to be in the London office 2 days consecutive days, 2 to 4 times per month.
This is a PAYE contract only and cannot be enagged as a Ltd company or self-employed contract basis.
