Our Client, a multinational energy company, is currently hiring a Project Manager to plan and implement data driven HR/ resource planning processes.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain highly effective relationships within medium-scale projects and other project and business teams to ensure that interfaces work correctly.
• Deliver the projects to the required quality and success criteria as defined in the project definition or Project Initiation Document (PID).
• Manage cross project and programme dependencies, ensuring activities are joined up from an operational and delivery point of view.
• Proactively manage, through appropriate project management frameworks key customer and stakeholder relationships relevant to the project.
• Manage projects to ensure that resultant systems/services deliver the specified objectives, within budget and timescale.
• Ensure that IT/business strategy, policy and standards are adhered to, thus achieving commonality and ease of maintenance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience and relevant practitioner qualification required, degree level education desired.
• Ability to apply the concepts of project governance.
• Ability to negotiate time lines and other delivery metrics around projects.
• Ability to develop counter-measures and contingency plans associated with significant project risk.
• Experience of project cost accounting.
• Understanding of different systems project life cycles.
• Application of relevant project change control mechanisms, including the transition process into operations.
• Ownership of relevant project budgets.

This is a full time, 6 month contract role Inside IR35 with a possibility to extend and/or become permanent (although this is not guaranteed).

This is a remote role with an potentially occasional office visit.
