Our client a well-known Technology, Information & Internet company, is looking for a Financial Analyst to work within the current EMEA VAT Compliance team in London, who is eager to work in a fast-paced and growing team within a constantly evolving environment, this will be for an Initial 9 months with possibility of extension subject to business needs. Potential conversion to full time, again subject to above.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare, analyse, and submit European VAT returns (e.g., German VAT returns) and related filings.

· Prepare, analyse, and submit Intrastat returns.

· Prepare and review month-end VAT account reconciliations.

· Assist in the mapping of VAT processes and identify areas for improvement and solutions for VAT issues.

· Prepare and review month-end VAT account reconciliations.

· Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis.

· Provide VAT compliance support to colleagues throughout the business and accounting groups.

· Participate in cross-functional projects.

Preferred experience:

· Professional qualifications in ACA, ACCA or CTA

· Multilingual

· 3 years' experience

This is a full time/ 9-month contract, Hybrid position.

Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
