EMEA Accountant
Job description
Our client, a global enterprise technology company, based in Reading, is currently hiring for a Statutory EMEA Accountant to create and execute accounting processes, analyse data, advise the team, and support colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sharing of accounting documents from multiple sources with External Outsourced provider for 16 legal entities.
- Monthly reconciliation of outsourced statutory accounting records with group accounts in NSAP.
- Producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and uploading into the Blackline balance sheet reconciliation repository.
- Ensuring compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements:
- Significant Experience in a Financial / Statutory accounting role
- Hands on experience using SAP and Blackline
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for European countries or IFRS.
- Experience working within a multinational company.
- Proficiency in a European language other than English.
- Big 4 Accounting/Advisory/Audit experience.
- Demonstrated Shared Service Centre experience.
- Experience gained whilst working in the IT or Telecommunications industry.
This is a full time, contract position for an initial period of 12 months with the option to extend and/or become permanent (although this is not guaranteed).
