Job description

Our client, a leading SaaS company in the Education sector, is currently hiring for an Business Development Manager to develop and acquire new business and expanding the customer base, by cross selling and up selling other software products and services across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Meet revenue and key performance indicators set by the business for a specified product set, achieved by outbound prospecting.
  • Implement sales strategies and plans across all sales areas and product streams across a defined Territory to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
  • Rapidly increase the penetration of the company's Global software (SaaS) services within the UK and in line with the sales targets, market penetration and product coverage KPI's.
  • Manage and drive volume, yield and revenue across the range of products.
  • Maximise penetration of the company's services and products with new accounts.

Requirements

  • Ability to prospect new customers, and generate a new business pipeline with outbound sales activity.
  • A strong analytical mindset and strong data orientation.
  • Have a creative mindset with regards to product value sales, community development, problem solving and customer experience.
  • Experience - Significant evidence of success within a software sales (SaaS) environment.
  • Experience in demoing software live to prospects.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid position working 3 days from their offices in Sheffield and 2 days from home.
