Job description
We're looking for an experienced AEM Backend Developer to join our team remotely on a short-term contract with an automotive client. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality solutions and have a strong background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain backend components and integrations within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Work closely with frontend developers and content teams to build scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Design and implement AEM workflows, templates, components, and services.
- Collaborate with the client's technical and marketing teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical specs.
- Optimize AEM solutions for performance and scalability.
- Debug and resolve issues related to AEM, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Assist in the migration, upgrade, and deployment of AEM content and configurations.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AEM Backend Developer (2+ years).
- Strong understanding of AEM 6.x architecture, including JCR, Sling, OSGi, and Apache Felix.
- Proficient in Java, Servlets, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with AEM development tools like CRXDE, Maven, and Eclipse.
- Familiarity with AEM components like MSM, DAM, and workflows.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with frontend technologies and how they interact with AEM (e.g., React, Angular).
- Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is a bonus.
