Job description

Our client, an early-stage company launching a suite of customer acquisition tools for leading e-commerce brands, is looking for a full-cycle Account Executive to join their sales team. You will report directly to the CEO and will work cross-functionally with the Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams. As an early member of a startup, you should be a quick learner and self-starter with strong communication skills and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This role will be the first sales contributor role with multiple options for growth tracks to Partnerships, Customer Success, or Management.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, social media, partnerships, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Input all activity and notes into HubSpot CRM
  • Pre-qualify leads, create lists, and A/B test call scripts, subject line, and body copy
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify as sales opportunities
  • Conduct product demonstration meetings and coordinate any other closing activities
  • Manage accounts through onboarding to upsell
  • Stay informed about Treat products and services, as well as competing products and services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Report to CEO and the broader team with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent listening, sales, and customer service skills
  • Organized, with the ability to multitask
