Account Executive
Job description
Our client, an early-stage company launching a suite of customer acquisition tools for leading e-commerce brands, is looking for a full-cycle Account Executive to join their sales team. You will report directly to the CEO and will work cross-functionally with the Customer Success, Engineering, and Product teams. As an early member of a startup, you should be a quick learner and self-starter with strong communication skills and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This role will be the first sales contributor role with multiple options for growth tracks to Partnerships, Customer Success, or Management.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, social media, partnerships, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Input all activity and notes into HubSpot CRM
- Pre-qualify leads, create lists, and A/B test call scripts, subject line, and body copy
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify as sales opportunities
- Conduct product demonstration meetings and coordinate any other closing activities
- Manage accounts through onboarding to upsell
- Stay informed about Treat products and services, as well as competing products and services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Report to CEO and the broader team with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- 1-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent listening, sales, and customer service skills
- Organized, with the ability to multitask
