Financial Accountant

Our client, a global telecoms and technology business, based in Reading, Berkshire are currently hiring for a Financial Accountant to assist the monthly/year end close processes and ad hoc finance/accounting projects.

As a key contributor to the EMEA Accounting team you'll be using your expertise to create and execute accounting processes, analyse data, advise the team, and support your colleagues.

Essenital Requirements

• Significant Experience in a Financial accounting role
• Excellent experience of working with SAP and Blackline
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for European countries or IFRS.
• Experience in the preparation of general ledgers and report query and design for multiple countries.
• Experience working within a multinational company.

Desired Requirements

• Proficiency in a European language other than English.
• A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA certification (or similar).
• Big 4 Accounting/Advisory/Audit experience.
• Knowledge of FASB, SEC requirements, SOX compliance.

This is an immediate start Ltd company/umbrella contract role which will run unitil 30th April 2020, with the potential to either extend up to 12, 18 or 24 months and/or become permanent (although this is not guaranteed).

In this position you would be responsible for paying all of you own relevant taxes and deductions in country.

This position is working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
